After the challenges of 2020, the past 11 months have presented all of us with a whole new calendar of unknowns. But what got us through — and what helped the consumers who rely on us get through — was the dedication of our 300,000 CVS Health employees.
In this season of gratitude, we want to publicly thank our employees for demonstrating the power of purpose through their caring and dedication. From clinical personnel delivering tests and vaccines, to front-line staff keeping our stores stocked and staffed, to corporate teams working to help people get the care they need, CVS Health employees stood out in 2021. They delivered for our customers and kept our business running smoothly throughout the pandemic. And they held one another up through the ups and downs, challenges and hopes of this past year. They made a real difference in people’s lives. We salute them.
We know that taking the time to show gratitude to people in our lives can help us develop deeper relationships, reduce stress and improve our overall well-being. So, not only are we publicly thanking our employees, but we’re also encouraging them to show their gratitude to one another.
When employees share stories of their appreciation for their peers, CVS Health will make a donation to our Employee Relief Fund. Since 2011, the Fund has provided more than $2.5 million to help CVS Health employees who’ve had a significant hardship due to natural disaster, family death, medical emergency or other unforeseen events.
We couldn’t be prouder of the way our employees are helping 100 million people achieve a healthier life. We applaud them for bringing their hearts to every moment of health.
