A message from our leaders
At CVS Health®, we are on a journey to be America’s leading and most trusted health care company. It’s a bold aspiration, rooted in reality: our connected businesses allow us to do more than anyone else to change health care for the better. That means making health care simpler, more accessible, more afordable and improving health outcomes for all. We are working every day to do just that.
Strong, healthy connections enable our success. We have trusted relationships with the 185 million people we serve. We have intentionally brought together businesses that make it easier for us to help people get and stay healthy. From our insurance plans and expansive network of pharmacies to our clinics and services, we provide people with access to important resources and care. When we are needed the most, we are at our best.
CVS Health has more than 300,000 colleagues from every corner of our country, reecting the communities we serve. We see how strong communities and a healthy planet directly impact the physical and mental well-being of individuals. Our goals are more readily achieved when we are all guided by a common purpose and an uncommon commitment to care.
Our Healthy 2030 strategy outlines our impact across four key pillars: Healthy People, Healthy Business, Healthy Community and Healthy Planet. You can learn more about our strategy and meaningful progress toward our goals here.
There is power in our connectivity, and we have tremendous opportunities ahead. It’s one thing to have the right assets, and another to have the will and the vision to shape the future of health care. We do. As we succeed, people live healthier. Millions count on us, and we will deliver.

At CVS Health, we generate the greatest impact by connecting assets and expertise from across our enterprise to tackle America’s most pressing health challenges.
These challenges are complex, with health outcomes often impacted by a multitude of factors at the individual, societal and environmental levels. We believe solutions must take a holistic approach. Across our impact strategy, we are combining our reach and knowledge of local communities, the power of our philanthropic partnerships, and innovative health care solutions made possible through advanced data, analytics and technology.
Enterprise-wide, we are prioritizing access to personalized mental health resources and support for our patients, colleagues and communities. Amid rising mental health concerns nationwide, our efforts are having a measurable impact. Approximately 78% of patients who access mental health services through MinuteClinic report a reduction in depression symptoms. Our colleagues took advantage of expanded access to no-cost counseling and other resources and joined us in championing a culture that eliminates the stigma surrounding mental health challenges. In our communities, we are lifting up the nonprofit organizations working to provide direct access to mental health services and care.
We also found new ways to close gaps in care for women, who make up many of our front store customers, and 70% of our CVS Health colleagues. In 2024, we worked across our business to provide women with access to personalized, accessible and affordable care throughout their lifetimes, with new initiatives aimed at changing the conversation around menopause and providing expectant mothers with the mental health support they deserve.
We know that the health of the environment impacts human health. As part of our goal to become America’s leading and most trusted health care company, it is our charge to not only reduce our own environmental impact, but to shape a more resilient health care system for the future. Work through our climate resiliency strategy resulted in new investments in renewable energy as we continue down a defined path toward net-zero emissions by 2050. Through a first-of-its-kind, nationwide environmental health impact program, we leveraged artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to support individuals most vulnerable to extreme weather events. A significant investment from the CVS Health Foundation is further advancing work to support communities most at-risk from climate change impacts, like air pollution.
Across our Impact pages, there are many other examples of how we have stepped up to deliver for the people and communities who need us most. Thank you for taking the time to learn more.
