Resources for Living offerings
Resources for Living takes a comprehensive approach to improving members’ mental, physical and emotional health. Built to optimize employee engagement, it goes beyond a traditional employee assistance program (EAP). With Resources for Living, employees benefit from in-person and digital access to a range of services. Regardless of insurer, these offerings build resilience and prevent small issues from becoming big ones. This includes work-life services that support social determinants of health and potential stressors. Resources for Living is a data-driven and evidence-based program. It’s focused on prevention and early interventions, prioritizing total wellness and healthy living.
Resources for Living counselors provide members with confidential, free in-the-moment support 24/7. For continued support, Resources for Living connects members with in-person and virtual providers, including therapists, coaches and other services to improve mental well-being.
In times of crisis, like natural disasters or violence, Resources for Living’s trained counselors provide on-the-ground support to both members and the community. These resources help them reflect, cope, and manage their emotions. Resources for Living also helps members as well as broader communities rebound from crises by connecting them to community-based resources. This could be in the immediate aftermath of an event and on a longer-term basis. Services are also available to employers who may not offer other Resources for Living services.
Here4U® online peer support groups focus on improving social connectedness. Led by Resources for Living licensed clinicians, individuals listen to others struggling with similar experiences. They can learn strategies to manage change, reduce stress and emphasize mental wellness. Here4U is available to employers who may not offer other Resources for Living services.
Resources for Living’s Care Partner Model simplifies navigation of benefits to contact with a single individual. A Care Partner supports a member across the entire mental health continuum, regardless of insurer.
Resources for Living is available to Aetna Medicare Advantage plan members and their loved ones. For feelings of loneliness, a social connectedness outreach program is offered to Medicare Advantage members. RFL also connects members with important community resources, such as transportation, housing, food programs, caregiver support and utility assistance, based on individual member needs.
