Treating customers with compassion at CVS Pharmacy

With a presence in 10,000 communities nationwide, our CVS Pharmacy locations serve as a front door to health care for more than 5 million customers every day. Many of those customers visit the pharmacy counter, where they witness firsthand our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working hard to ensure that prescriptions are delivered on time to those who need them.

Quyen Diep, a pharmacist and manager at a store in Anaheim, California, is a shining example of a colleague who puts this work into action and inspires her team to do the same.

Motivated by personal challenges she’s had to overcome, Diep has a philosophy of treating her CVS Pharmacy customers like patients, with compassion and care.

For her hard work and leadership, Diep was awarded a 2018 Paragon Award, which recognizes the best-of-the-best among CVS Health colleagues who deliver direct care to patients and customers. Now in its 28th year, the Paragon Awards honor colleagues who embody the core values of CVS Health.
