It is projected that by 2020, 5.6 million new health care jobs will be created, which may lead to a sizeable shortage in pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants – the highly skilled workers CVS Health needs to compete and run our business.
That’s why we’ve invested in the CVS Health Talent Connect Center, an innovative employment and training facility within the Fort Bragg Career Resource Center that is dedicated to helping veterans and their families transition from military life to private sector civilian careers.
The Talent Connect Center combines state-of-the-art virtual reality technology with hands-on expert support to help veterans and their spouses navigate the human resources process, from resume assistance and simulated interviewing practice to connecting them virtually with leaders within our company.
In addition, the center is also designed to open up veterans to the vast employment opportunities within CVS Health, which extend past retail and into distribution, IT, nursing, and more.
