Community Heroes Grant Program Voting

CVS Health, WPRI and the Pawtucket Red Sox have joined forces for the third year of Community Heroes, a program that will provide $55,000 in grants to Rhode Island nonprofits.

This year’s grant program invited Rhode Island youth-based nonprofits to participate in a Public Service Announcement campaign, where youth created videos on what it means for them to be the first tobacco free generation.

Ten PSAs have been selected and each organization will receive a $5,000 Community Heroes grant! And, now you can help decide which organization receives a $5,000 bonus grant!  Just view the videos in the screen below and then vote for your favorite via the poll beneath the videos. Note, only one vote per person will be tallied. Voting ends August 23 at 5:00 pm EST. The organization that gets the most votes will be announced at the Pawtucket Red Sox game on August 26, and will be featured live on the Rhode Show on WPRI on August 28.

CVS Health, WPRI and the Pawtucket Red Sox are proud to help Rhode Island youth be the first tobacco-free generation!
