A Unique Model
With so many retailers offering in-store fundraising campaigns, it can be difficult to know which to support. What makes each one different?
We chose to offer the SU2C campaign in our stores because of its unique model, which enables scientists to work collaboratively, rather than in competition with one another, on “Dream Teams.” These teams include members from varying disciplines and institutions who come together to accelerate research and improve cancer care.
Teams also collaborate with other Dream Teams, sharing breakthroughs and best practices. In addition, SU2C’s research model has made it possible to bring new drugs to patients in record time, rather than the 12-15 years the average cancer drug spends in development and the FDA approval process. This accelerated research pace shows no signs of slowing, so SU2C uses the newest treatments and technologies to stay ahead of the curve.

For every box of Nicorette® or NicoDerm® CQ® purchased at CVS Pharmacy through October 1, 2016, GSK Consumer Healthcare will donate $1 to Stand Up To Cancer, up to $100,000.
