Perot Systems to Manage CVS Data Center and Establish New England Regional Site to Support Healthcare Customers

PLANO, Texas and WOONSOCKET, R.I., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Perot Systems Corporation (NYSE: PER) and CVS Corporation (NYSE: CVS) today announced that the companies have signed a multi-year contract to have Perot Systems manage Data Center services for the national retail pharmacy company.

Under terms of the agreement, Perot Systems will provide data center services at the CVS headquarters location including: computer operations, systems administration, production scheduling and monitoring. Perot Systems will offer full-time employment to all of the approximately 60 Woonsocket, Rhode Island, CVS employees who currently perform these services for CVS. In addition, the Woonsocket facility will become the Northeast Technology Center serving multiple Perot Systems' Healthcare customers.
