The new site provides an unparalleled pharmacy and shopping experience featuring extensive health information and resources in addition to customized deals and savings information
WOONSOCKET, R.I., June 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today CVS/pharmacy announced the launch of the new CVS.com, an interactive website that offers shoppers a highly personalized pharmacy and retail experience. The new CVS.com seamlessly extends the access to pharmacy services found in-store to shoppers' homes and mobile devices, so managing, refilling and picking up medication is easier and more convenient than ever before.
With resources such as My Pharmacy, where shoppers can easily view all of their prescriptions and manage refills, and a Drug Information Center, where shoppers can ensure medications can be taken together and view descriptive images of each prescribed pill, CVS/pharmacy delivers unprecedented health and information access to its customers wherever and whenever they need it. The website also incorporates a digital home for the ExtraCare® program, the largest retail savings and rewards program, with more than 69 million active cardholder households. Backed by a deep layer of functionality, shoppers can view a dashboard of their in-store and online shopping and savings history, send personalized digital offers to their card and more. Personalized Homepage for Each Shopper
Shoppers who log into the site will see a personalized view of their CVS/pharmacy experience on the myCVS homepage and be greeted with convenient reminders and information related to their prescriptions, ExtraCare and shopping activity. The redesigned website also has individual tabs for CVS.com, CVS Photo and MinuteClinic, providing a convenient, easy-to-use experience. Drop-down menus for pharmacy, shopping, deals and ExtraCare allow shoppers to easily navigate from the main homepage.
Pharmacy Hub to Help Shoppers Manage Health
The pharmacy page is designed for easy management of health information so shoppers can not only remember to refill and pick up prescriptions but gather the information they need about what's in their medicine cabinet. Visitors also have access to a Drug Information Center to check for drug interactions and identify pills by shape, color and imprint. Through the enhanced Prescription Center, customers can:
