Alzheimer’s Association and CVS Health join forces for third consecutive year to build a future without Alzheimer’s

“With nearly half of all caregivers supporting seniors with Alzheimer’s, it’s increasingly important to provide both the patient and caregivers with personalized care,” said Eileen Howard Boone, SVP of Corporate Social Responsibility and Philanthropy, CVS Health. “This campaign will fund Alzheimer’s Association care and support programs to help our customers who are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or another dementia.”

The in-store fundraising campaign launched August 29 and will run through September 25 at CVS Pharmacy locations nationwide. During the campaign, CVS Pharmacy customers will have the opportunity to contribute to the Alzheimer’s Association by rounding up the change on purchases to the next dollar or by making a specified donation of their choice. To create a future without Alzheimer’s and other dementias, 100% of customer donations will go to the Alzheimer’s Association. Throughout the campaign, CVS Health and the Alzheimer’s Association will share tips and resources to help caregivers navigate this disease, as well as general information to address caregiver stress.

The funds raised through our partnership are bolstering our efforts to support families facing Alzheimer’s and advance much needed research that will one day change the future for millions.”

In addition to the in-store fundraising campaign, CVS Health also serves as a national presenting sponsor of the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which takes place in more than 600 communities across the country each year from August through November. Since 2020, CVS Health has been a national presenting sponsor of Walk, with thousands of CVS Health employees participating in the annual event.
