Fast Company 50 Most Innovative Companies, 2016
Cited for being a “one-stop health shop,” CVS Health ranked number three on Fast Company’s 50 Most Innovative Companies list for 2016. Specifically, Fast Company highlighted our digital efforts, including app-based paper prescription scanning and medication reminders; new and expanded health care options for consumers such as hearing and vision services; healthier food choices in our retail locations; and our 2014 ban on tobacco sales at CVS Pharmacy and subsequent smoking cessation program launch.
To select the top 50, Fast Company examined innovation across more than 40 sectors of the economy and identified relevant trends. From there, they chose the 50 companies that are either responsible for or are best capitalizing on those trends.
Fortune World’s Most Admired Companies

To arrive at the final 50, more than 4,000 executives, directors and securities analysts were asked to select the 10 companies they admired most.
