Marc-David Munk, MD, MPH, MHCM

Associate Chief Medical Officer, CVS Health and Chief Medical Officer, CVS MinuteClinic

Marc-David Munk, MD, MPH, MHCM, is Associate Chief Medical Officer of CVS Health and Chief Medical Officer of CVS MinuteClinic, the company’s retail medical clinic subsidiary. In this role, Munk leads and oversees MinuteClinic’s patient care strategies with a focus on ensuring that MinuteClinic provides high-quality clinical care to patients. In addition, Munk leads work to further develop innovative strategic programming and expanded health care services across the CVS Health enterprise.

Prior to his role at CVS Health, Munk served as the Chief Medical Officer of Boston-based Iora Health. In his role at Iora Health, Munk led the health care system’s care model and care delivery at practices across seven states. During his tenure, Munk helped restructure Iora Health’s model of care, including integrated behavioral health. Before joining Iora Health, Munk served as Chief Medical Officer of Reliant Medical Group. He has also held leadership positions with the University of New Mexico Health System and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. 

Munk received a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from Colgate University, a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Jefferson Medical College, a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Boston University, and most recently a Master of Science in Health Care Management (MHCM) from Harvard University.
