J. David Joyner, CEBS

Executive Vice President, Sales and Account Services, CVS Caremark

J. David Joyner, CEBS, is Executive Vice President, Sales and Account Services, for CVS Caremark and is responsible for overseeing all new and existing client relationships for CVS Health’s pharmacy benefit management business. In addition, he leads the Health System Alliances at CVS Health with responsibility for the development of population health partnerships with integrated systems, hospitals, and medical groups.

An executive with more than 30 years of experience, Joyner joined the company in February 1993. Joyner has served in a number of key sales and management positions for the company, including Marketing, Client Operations, Product Innovation, and Enterprise Analytics & Outcomes. Previously, Joyner was an account executive for Aetna Health Plans.

Joyner earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, majoring in finance, from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, and currently holds a certified employee benefit specialist (CEBS) designation.
