Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, CVS Health
Lisa Bisaccia is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer and member of the Executive Committee of CVS Health, a Fortune 5 company, with revenues of approximately $194.6 billion and more than 295,000 employees.
Lisa is responsible for direction and management of all human resources functions enterprise wide, building the leadership effectiveness, engagement, talent and capabilities necessary to achieve CVS Health’s business objectives. She has driven multiple strategic initiatives, including improving employee engagement and experience, redesigning health benefits for all employees and launching enterprise-wide talent management and leadership development systems. Additionally, Lisa serves as a trusted advisor to the CEO and other members of senior management. Lisa is considered an expert in executive compensation and current employee benefits and wellness trends in our country.
In addition to leading Human Resources, Lisa also oversees CVS Health's Corporate Social Responsibility and Philanthropy department, which includes the CVS Health Charitable Trust and the Aetna Foundation. In 2019, we announced our commitment to improving community health and wellness with Building Healthier Communities, a five-year commitment to invest $100 million to improve access to affordable health care and positively impact public health issues like chronic disease and smoking cessation, especially among underserved populations.
Lisa has been a human resources leader for over thirty years, with expertise in the financial services industry as well as the healthcare and retail sectors. Prior to joining CVS Health in 2004, she led the compensation and benefits function at Fleet Boston Financial which had assets of $200 billion and 55,000 employees in 8 countries.
Lisa is a member of the Board of Directors of Aramark Corporation, where she serves on the Compensation and Human Resources and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees. She serves on the Board of Governors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, where she chairs the Human Resources and Compensation Committee and is a member of the Audit and Talent Management committees. She serves on the Board of Trustees of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and has served as a member of the Trinity’s Board of Fellows as well. She chairs the R.I. Trust on Career and Technical Education, recently appointed by R.I. Governor Gina Raimondo. She volunteers her expertise to the Care New England (CNE) Health Care system in her roles as member of the Quality Committee of Women & Infants Hospital and of the Compensation Committee of the CNE system. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the HR Policy Association and serves as Vice Chair of the Center for Executive Compensation.
Lisa earned her B.A. in Modern Languages from Trinity College and her M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
